Staying active outdoors requires hydration, and the invention of portable hydration packs like those from Camelback and Source has made hydration on the go easier than ever before. Unfortunately, hot water is not very appetizing, and can discourage both people and dogs from taking a drink when needed.

HTFx now produces a civilian version of the 50d Tactical HydraKool hydration pack cooler used by US military forces in extreme desert environments around the world.

The HydraKool Sport hydration pack cooler is completely reusable and recharges in a freezer or refrigerator. Place the charged HydraKool Sport inside a hydration pack inside a hydration pack, next to the water bladder for up 6 hours of comfortably cool drinking water (70 to 78 degrees F) in outside temperatures of 108 degrees (cooler outside temperatures result in longer cooling times).

Fits standard hydration packs with bladder sizes ranging from 1 to 3 liters. Dog serving bowl not included (serving size amounts of water can easily be poured from the cooled hydration bladder into a dog serving bowl to share refreshingly cool water with your best friend).
